Michael Keaton's performance on screen in "Birdman" is his most notable film. He is a versatile actor who is proficient in comedy in addition to dramatic parts. His professional career has seen him perform a number of romantic characters, as well as appearing in a few action-packed films. His passion for the performing arts began in his teens. He attempted stand-up comedy in his early 20s. Although his stand-up show wasn't a success, it did pave the road for his acting. Unable to find success as a comedian he took the job of cameraman for a TV cable station. As he was doing working, he began to realise that he desired to appear on camera. After a couple of episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he was able to get an appearance on television. His natural talent as an actor made him popular in TV. He embarked on an acting career in film with huge ambitions and found considerable fame for his comedic performances. The accolades grew when he portrayed Batman's eponymous hero as Tim Burton's Batman. As time passed the actor's acting abilities were improved, and he started to look into directing and producing. He received several nominations and awards for his performances in the 2014 film Birdman.
