Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in television and film, is most well-known for her roles in films like Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra began her show business career at a young age. She played lead roles in TV dramas as young when she was just 16. After the critically-acclaimed performance in the TV film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy characters like Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, on Downfall.
